HALIFAX AREA SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM

The Valleys has joined with other local churches and community groups in support of the Halifax School Food for Families Program. This program provides one lunch each week during the summer months for children and their families in the Halifax Elementary School Cafeteria.

LOCAL MISSIONS

The Valleys supports council pre-selected programs that are supported by congregational benevolent contributions. They are . . .

  •    Christian Churches United
  •    Lifeline Center
  •    Halifax Ministerium
  •    Halifax Senior Center
 

Also . . . On the 1st Sunday of every month, we take a special offering of food items to support the Upper Dauphin Human Service Food Bank . At Christmas, we supply the children who are recipients from the Food Bank with Christmas Gifts from our Angel Tree Project.
On the 4th Sunday of every month we place a Mission Basket for offerings to support three ongoing Mission Projects

  1.    Community Meals
  2.    The Back to School Yard Sale
  3.    The Christmas Offering (For people of extreme need in our own Congregation.)
